Uzoma means good path in Igbo, a language from Nigeria. Every acquisition is a chance to walk that path — with integrity, patience, and purpose — and to honor what someone spent years building.

Chima founded Uzoma Capital to acquire and operate small to mid-sized businesses, bringing the same discipline he has applied across 15 years of leading within organizations in education, enterprise, and early-stage growth. From large institutions to lean startups, his approach has been consistent: understand what's working, strengthen what isn't, and execute. He holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

What We Look For

Industry

Service businesses with recurring or contracted revenue. B2B preference, with openness to select B2C where the fundamentals are strong.

Economics

$300K–$700K in seller's discretionary earnings. Consistent profitability, clean financials, and a verifiable cash flow track record.

Business

Established companies with at least 10 years of operation, asset-light business models, and operations that function independently of the owner's daily presence. Located in the Greater Houston area or structured to operate without dependence on a single physical location.

We review the basic financials and a Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) if one is available, along with any other context that helps us understand the business. Everything shared is handled with complete confidentiality.
